Three museums.
It can be confusing--in places, we speak of a museum dedicated to fighting Climate Change--by showing you just a fraction of the nearly HUNDRED MILLION TONS of clothing thrown away on the planet annually. The statistics are horrifying.
Elsewhere, you may read about our charming miniature museum--and while we love our dozens of dollhouses (almost as much as our collection of fairies love their forest fairy kingdom), we also have "edgier" miniatures, including gritty scenes of hoarding, homelessness, as well as some wee naughty peekabopos at human vice.
Last but not least, we have the gadget museum, focusing on, well--gadgets. This museum is also a nod to the power of storytelling, whether it be a photographer down in the trenches, or a child learning to take his or her own pictures. We have typewriters from the 40's, cameras from the 20's, samples of computers fromthe 1980's, as well as a hodgepodge of gadgets that humanity has tinkered with since time immemorial.
The explanation is simple--Langford collected miniatures, Pickwick collected cameras and computers, and these collections lived completely separate lives, until Pickwick and Langford met for the first time in 2011.
By that time, it became clear to anyone paying attention that Climate Change is an existential threat to the nation and to the planet.
Sadly, during the time when thousands of dollars were stolen from the museum's storage facilities, all three collections were decimated.
We hope that clears things up. The Furious and Righteous Revenge and Justice that we seek will be discussed elsewhere.
